Sharwil Avocados are known for their rich, buttery taste and smooth creamy texture due to their high oil content. They are the perfect size, roughly 8 -16 ounces, with a small seed and beautiful green skin that is easy to peel.

The Sharwil avocado was developed in 1951 in Queensland, Australia. It is a combination of Guatemalan and Mexican strains. In 1966, scions were sent to Hawai'i from Australia. Sharwil avocados thrive in Hawai'i's climate - particularly in the Kona region of the Big Island where our farm is located.  Over the years, Sharwils have become one of the most popular varieties to grow in the islands.
